London signs up champions to aid tourism

Tourism and marketing body Visit London has recruited 24 London Business Tourism Champions to promote business tourism in the capital.

The 'champions' are prominent members of the events industry who will use their profile to raise awareness of London's growing business tourism industry to an international audience.

Among the champions are Mask director Arthur Somerset, Barbican Centre commercial director Mark Taylor, and the Natural History Museum general manager, conference and events, Ian Lovat Fraser, who is also chair of the Unique Venues of London consortium.
