Fegent, who was hired by Lowe's suspended chief executive, Garry Lace, is currently in a period of consultation while the company reviews the situation.
The role has been brought into question shortly after the news that the global network is cutting back the number of its global hub offices to 36.
Fegent joined Lowe from the mobile telecoms company Orange, where she was the procurement manager for sales and marketing.
Previously, she worked at Grey London, where she was responsible for managing the cost-base and negotiating with clients. She was brought on board at the agency by Lace when he was Grey's chief executive.
A spokeswoman for Lowe London said: "Tina Fegent has done a fantastic job. However, the necessity of a full-time member of staff in this position is under review. As such, Tina is currently in a consultation period."
