- M&C Saatchi New York president Brent Bouchez and executive creative director David Page have resigned from the agency.
Their departure was announced by the newly-installed executive chairman Robert Fletcher, who said Bouchez and Page left "due to philosophical differences with the UK partners". They were rumoured to have become frustrated about the lack of support from London for the New York operation.
Fletcher joined M&C in the US to help shore up the operation and allow Bouchez and Page to focus on creative duties. But his arrival came too late to make much difference to the disenchanted pair, hired two years ago from Ammirati Puris Lintas,
Bouchez and Page say they will continue to work together. One possible move would be to the IBM account at Ogilvy & Mather. The two were instrumental in winning the Compaq account when at APL.
