- Euro RSCG Wnek Gosper has had a management reshuffle following the departure of two senior figures in the last month.
Gary Lace, the board account director in charge of Peugeot Citroen, recently left Euro RSCG to become client services director at TBWA Simons Palmer and Joe Boyd, Euro RSCG's new-business director, joined DMB&B as head of client services three weeks ago.
Neither Lace or Boyd has been replaced directly. Instead, Adrian Simons, who led the agency's successful Haagen Dazs pitch and was in charge of the Microsoft business for four years, has been promoted to client services director. Mark Wnek, the executive creative director, said: "With creative product our main priority, it was essential we had a champion of creative work at the client services helm."
Euro RSCG has also promoted Ian Maynard, the head of client services, to deputy managing director. Maynard ran the Peugeot account for many years. He is now responsible for clients including Bass and Jacobs.
Chris Pinnington, Euro RSCG's managing director, said: "As the agency has grown, the need to spread the management load has intensified. Ian has great people management abilities which will be immensely valuable."
There have also been two additions to the board -- Britt Sarony and Spencer Osborne, who worked on Abbey National and Iomega respectively. Osborne has also been appointed head of training. Finally, Paul Uhart, who works mainly on Airbus, has become the vice chairman at Euro RSCG.
