The urbane Mathieu continues to innovate, guiding the FMCG brandowner’s marketing, innovation and CSR. Tapping into his experience as cofounder of social commerce start-up We&Co, over the past 12 months he has led the launch of the Unilever Foundry, a venture designed to lure start-ups to the group, and kicked off the company’s biggest consumer-facing brand campaign under the banner ‘Project Sunlight’, to push its sustainability message across its global markets. Mathieu combines experienced marketing nous with creative flair. He is a big fan of progressive and immersive performing arts and sits on the board of the Almeida Theatre and interactive theatre company Punchdrunk.
