Just Media has landed the planning and buying task for March First,

the global e-commerce consultant.

March First is planning a ’seven figure’ rebranding campaign in Europe

as part of a worldwide awareness-building exercise.

Jacqui Seddon, associate director, has planned two bursts of

activity.

The initial campaign broke on 12 June and is running for a month in

British, French and German markets. It focuses on outdoor and selected

European business titles such as The Economist and Faz.

The September advertising drive will also be pan-European and will run

until the end of the year.

Seddon said the strategy had yet to be decided but would include

outdoor, print and possibly TV. She is also considering focusing on

specific sectors, such as finance.

March First designs, builds and supplies integrated websites and

e-commerce.

Seddon will be assisted by two planner/buyers who will be assigned to

the account from Just Media’s existing media team.

March First is targeting senior business managers and is keen to forge

business links with dotcom start-ups and blue-chips that want to update

their websites or get e-commerce capability.

The company was formed from the merger between USWeb/CKS and

Whitmann-Hart. The advertising activity is the first stage of rebranding

strategy.
