The charity has contacted agencies with a brief to redesign its website and create all digital communications.

The process is being handled by the AAR.

Agencies are being asked to provide information regarding any previous charity work that they have carried out.

In August 2007, Marie Curie appointed the now defunct Catchpole & Friends to handle its legacy marketing.

The agency was briefed to create a project incorporating direct mail, poster and web activity, which targeted potential Marie Curie donors.  The campaign launched in October 2007, and was re-run this year.

Marie Curie also works closely with Delaney Lund Knox Warren & Partners, which handles its £1.3 million advertising business.

In January, the agency created an integrated campaign to support Marie Curie's Great Daffodil appeal, which aims to improve awareness of the charity's wish to help terminally ill people to die at home, instead of in hospital.
