Given’s profile has soared over the past year, due, in part, to his role in the launch of Sainsbury’s ad campaign based on the World War I Christmas Day truce. In August, he was promoted to a broader role within marketing, responsible for the corporate customer plan, Nectar partnerships and customer experience. His profile has risen outside Sainsbury’s, too, with his appointment as a fellow of The Marketing Society.
