MARKETING MIX: Brand manager of the week

Your greatest work achievement? One of my first projects on joining Britvic was the launch of the new Robinsons campaign. The idea is very powerful.

Britvic was the launch of the new Robinsons campaign. The idea is very

powerful.

Your ’dream’ brand to work on? Aveda is an American brand that has

launched in the UK. I like its interesting proposition, a combination of

the ’pamper’ factor along with a more ethical approach to business.

What would you be doing if you hadn’t gone into marketing?

I spent five years in human resources, so that’s probably where I would

still be today.

The worst part of your job?

Juggling lots of priorities - which can also be very fulfilling.

Your most embarrassing mistake? While working on Guinness, I miss-spelt

the word Guinness (using three n’s) on the back of a promotional

can.

Your best work-related trip? At Guinness I went on several trips to

Dublin, plus a tour of the distilleries as a graduate trainee.

The business person you admire most? Linda McCartney, for the way she

was able to dedicate herself both to her family and to her business

venture.
