- Troubled UK retailer Marks & Spencer has appointed Bartle Bogle Hegarty to create its Christmas foods campaign.

The appointment puts BBH in line to pick up a slice of M&S's brand positioning work once M&S's new marketing director is appointed next month.

BBH joins a small roster of shops handling project advertising for the retailer including BMP4, which is currently preparing an advertising and direct marketing campaign for the September launch of M&S's autumn clothing collection.

The campaign will include national press, magazines and buses.
