Martin Agency brings comedy to Rana Pasta spots

Giovanni Rana pasta is using hospitality and free airfare to reach beyond Manhattan's Chelsea Market

In the 50 years since he began delivering homemade pasta on his bike in Verona, Italy, Giovanni Rana has become a household name in grocery stores across Europe. In 2012, he made landfall in the U.S., and a new campaign from The Martin Agency New York is looking to expand the brand’s footprint. In a series of TV spots, Rana himself travels to the States to personally invite Americans to his home in Italy. Starting today, viewers can enter a contest to win one of five weekend trips to Verona. The spots are also running on social and the campaign’s dedicated site.
