A true creative at heart, Matt Nudds originally cut his teeth in leading recruitment firm Badenoch & Clark before moving to Purple where he helped grow the business to be one of the most formidable specialist recruitment firms in the creative industry. After concentrating on branding, design, advertising and technology, Nudds has the perfect blend of sector experience and creative flair to build on Daniel Marks’ unique offering.
"I am delighted to be joining Daniel Marks", says Matt Nudds. "The role offers a fantastic opportunity, especially at this time of the company's London and international expansion. The progressive culture of the firm aligns perfectly with my own values and its robust structure makes for a perfect platform to develop into new areas for the business. I'm very excited about what's ahead for Daniel Marks."
Nudds leads a multi-functional business at Daniel Marks with six dedicated divisions, covering all levels of recruitment and executive search, including account management, planning & strategy, project management & production, technology, creative, and client-side. Whether you’re a major brand, a tech start-up or a creative communications agency, Daniel Marks has the platform to assist your search.
"We’re absolutely delighted to have Matt on board", enthuses Dan Matthews, founder & CEO of Daniel Marks. "The chemistry was right from our first meeting and his reputation as a recruiter and manager is second to none. A combination of his experience in the creative sector and his natural fit with Daniel Marks culturally made Matt the stand-out managing director to lead our London business".
It has been a productive 12 months for Daniel Marks. In addition to the organic growth in each department, they have also launched a client-side marketing division, led by fellow director Katie Rixon in 2015. Rixon and her team joined Daniel Marks from Blueskies when their London office was relocated to Stratford-upon-Avon. A much sought after client-side unit, Rixon and her team have blended in well to the Daniel Marks culture and they are already expanding the division with new consultants and a representative from The Prince’s Trust recently joining to assist with the Big Bang internship awards.
With the addition of Katie Rixon as director and now Matt Nudds as managing director, the London office has a formidable leadership team offering an unparalleled breadth of experience and recruitment ‘know-how’.
Daniel Marks’ New York expansion is also well under way and its chief operating officer, Robin Longes, is spearheading the development of their US offering.
Longes adds: "With clients in San Francisco, Chicago, Portland and New York, our strategic base in the heart of Manhattan has enabled us to work on a broader range of briefs. With one eye already on Dubai and Singapore, our vision is to foster a reputation where leading talent has a network of opportunities to explore across several continents, each with the same values and integrity that the industry has come to expect from Daniel Marks."
