In EMEA, McAfee's media business is divided between MPG Media Contacts and King Pin. MPG handles the majority of the activity while King Pin works on its demand and lead generation business, which enables McAfee to have access to consumers who have downloaded McAfee advice online.
The review also impacts on Omnicom's digital shop Tribal DDB, which was appointed as McAfee's lead agency for its global ad account in 2008. Tribal runs the account out of its San Francisco office.
Just Media previously handled the business now held by King Pin. The agency resigned the account last July.
The review is being led out of McAfee's headquarters in Santa Clara, California.
