McCall heads jury in Campaign Press

Carolyn McCall, the chief executive of Guardian Newspapers, is heading one of the most prestigious juries ever for Campaign's 2005 Press Awards, as part of a dramatic revamp of the awards.

The awards ceremony, which takes place on 20 April, has been moved to the Old Truman Brewery on Brick Lane, the awards categories have been updated, and the evening will no longer carry a black-tie dress code.

The 16-strong panel also includes JWT's executive creative director, Nick Bell, Saatchi & Saatchi's Kate Stanners, Vallance Carruthers Coleman Priest's Rooney Carruthers and McCann Erickson's Robert Campbell.

Among the press specialists, Simon Kippin, the publishing director of Glamour, Andrew Mullins, the marketing director for The Times and The Sunday Times, Dylan Jones, the editor of GQ, and Dave King, the executive director at The Telegraph, will deliberate. Judging will begin in early March.
