McCann-Erickson wins $12m US Boston Beer account

- The Boston Beer Company has appointed McCann-Erickson Worldwide to its $12 million account following a competitive pitch held in the US.

To win the business McCanns fought it out against sister Interpublic agency Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos, New York. The incumbent on the business was Carmichael Lynch, out of Minneapolis, which did not repitch for the business.

The Boston Beer Co is the marketer of Samuel Adams brand brews, which include Boston Lager, Boston Ale Honey Porter, Scotch Ale, Cream Stout, Golden Pilsner, Triple Bock and Boston Lightship among others.
