- McCann-Erickson Manchester has been appointed by the Mersey Partnership to develop a brand identity for the Merseyside region following a competitive pitch.
The Mersey Partnership, the investment and tourism marketing agency for Merseyside, saw a number of agencies, but neither budgets nor competing agencies were disclosed.
The new brand identity will feature heavily in a national 'quality of life' advertising campaign, which will be launched early next year. The campaign will run on poster sites and on London Underground.
Christopher Gibaud, chief executive at the Mersey Partnership, said: "McCann-Erickson's strategy and campaign recommendations were the most comprehensive and appropriate. It's all about looking outwards and telling everyone about the business and lifestyle opportunities here on Merseyside."
