McCarthy O'Connor to manage Spectator magazine list

LONDON - The Spectator magazine has made its list of mainly over 55-year-old subscribers available through McCarthy O'Connor.

McCarthy O'Connor will be managing The Spectator list, which carries the names of over 55,000 subscribers.

The magazine, which was established in 1828, has a highbrow readership. According to McCarthy O'Connor, the list comprises mainly male subscribers over the age of 55, who are married homeowners with an income in excess of £40,000.

They are characterised by their proclivity to donate to charities and visit National Trust sites, and their interest in gourmet foods, fine wines, the arts and theatre.

McCarthy O'Connor is charging a postal rate of £165 per 1,000 names for the list.
