The new shop will launch with Virgin Money as its founding client, a business previously handled in the region by Starcom MediaVest.
MCHI was officially launched in the UK in January, as a joint venture between CHI & Partners and WPP's Group M.
The agency is headed by the managing partners Tim Allnutt and Enyi Nwosu, and claims to provide a new model by running a fee-only structure, rather than taking commission on media spend.
Founding clients included the Carphone Warehouse, TalkTalk and Virgin Money, and, since opening, the agency has also picked up Betfair and Britvic.
Nwosu said: "We are hungry to build on our good start. Internationalising the MCHI brand will play an important role in our growth."
