McLaren puts a black swan in a wind tunnel in a new online ad for the company’s 570S sports car. VCCP created the spot, in which the swan flies in the wind tunnel while a voiceover explains how the bird has become a metaphor for unpredictable and devastating events. The ad ends by cutting to the new supercar, which has a top speed of more than 200 miles per hour and will cost in the region of £145,000. McLaren thinks it can sell about 3,000 of them. The work was created by Steve Dodd and Josh Dando, and directed by Dom & Nic through Outsider. Post-production was by MPC, with audio post-production by Wave.
