MEDIA BRIEF: Ethnic Focus reveals survey results

Ethnic Focus has revealed that 70% of the UK's South Asian population feels terrestrial TV does not serve their viewing needs, in a survey conducted on behalf of Sky. The research also showed that South Asians are more likely to be multi-channel viewers, that 39% of respondents watch Asian-language TV in some form, and one in five listens exclusively to Asian radio. The survey was carried out to mark the 10th anniversary of Asian channels broadcasting in the UK.
