’Balloons are not the sort of thing I expect to fall out of my copy of

the FT, so (after blowing them up and annoying my colleagues with them)

I followed the instructions and turned to the series of ads throughout

the newspaper. The cunning combination of loose insert and display ads

was a novel way of capturing the FT’s business audience.’ Media
