Phil Carter, the design director of Carter Wong & Partners, chooses
the ad for Morland’s Old Speckled Hen that appeared on the front page of
the Telegraph last week. ’When I saw the Telegraph’s photo of a fluffy
fox cuddly toy raised aloft in celebration of the proposed ban on fox
hunting, my eye was then drawn to his likeable cousin below toasting Old
Speckled Hen. A mere coincidence?
Or had Morland’s media buyers foreseen this excellent juxtaposition?’
