its glossy new women’s title, code named Project Miriam, despite the

fact that Emap’s magazine account is centralised into Universal

McCann.

Pitches are being overseen by Andy Tilley, the former managing director

of Zenith Media, who has set up his own independent communications

consultancy, Unity. Zenith is understood to be one of the pitching

agencies.

Emap Elan, which publishes Elle and New Woman, confirmed this week that

it was launching a glossy magazine for older women early next year.

Emap is currently running an advertising campaign for its new monthly,

Minx, through Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe and Universal McCann.
