Christian cable channel Ark2 looks set to lose its fight to get its
programming on air, after failing to raise enough money by passing the
collecting tray around its investors.
It has put its operations on hold and has given notice to its 32
Bristol-based production staff. A pounds 1.3m deal with South African
channel Uplink last December seemed to offer salvation. But the first
payment has been held up in South Africa.
But Ark2’s managing director Alan Rogers is confident that the cable
channel will find a commercial investor
