KRAKATOA - Channel 4/22 January/7.00pm. The first of three tsunami-related programmes looks at the 1883 eruption that resulted in a tidal wave bigger than the recent one in Asia.

SO YOU THINK YOU CAN TEACH - Five/23 January/8.00pm. Three-part reality series with Janet Street-Porter, Shaun Williamson (formerly Fat Barry from EastEnders) and Tamara Beckwith taking on teaching jobs at a primary school in Cambridgeshire.

CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER FINAL - Channel 4/23 January/9.00pm. The winner is unveiled on the live final, hosted by Davina McCall. At least it won't be John McCririck.

LIKE FATHER LIKE SON - ITV1/24 January/9.00pm. First part of a two-part drama starring Robson Green uncovering a dark family secret as he tries to find out if a boy is following in his murderous father's footsteps.

THE ROTTERS' CLUB - BBC2/26 January/9.00pm. Adaptation of the Jonathan Coe novel, following teenagers growing up in 70s Britain. The screenplay is by Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais, the creators of programmes such as Porridge and Auf Wiedersehen Pet.

FAHRENHEIT 9/11 - Channel 4/27 January/9.00pm. Terrestrial premiere of Michael Moore's film following George W Bush's response to the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT: THE OSCARS - Sky One/28 January/7.30pm. A run-down of the newly nominated stars likely to triumph in this year's Academy Awards, to be held on 27 February.

INTERACTIVE PICK - Chemical Brothers (Sky One, Sky Sports, Channel 4). For the first time ever, a music advertiser will use advertising to preview tracks from a new album (the Chemical Brothers' Push the Button). The interactive ad campaign, which was bought by Carat, breaks on 20 January. Audio samples are also available via Sky Active.
