The department will be run by Ben Southgate, who joins from TBWA GGT Simons Palmer where he was a senior strategic brand planner.

Rick Sareen, founding partner of media21, commented: "As the digital space continues to generate new platforms for interactive and online communication, it is crucial that we understand the consumer and their media consumption behaviour as well as having a good grip on their expectations of brands and services in this domain. Ben brings classic planning expertise to media21 and he will give us and our clients that perspective".
