MediaVest Leeds scoops £1m Mag-Lite torch account

LONDON - MediaVest Leeds has won the £1m media planning and buying account for Mag-Lite torches.

The agency, which opened its doors at the end of February, takes over the account with immediate effect. According to AC Nielsen MMS, the account was previously held in-house.

MediaVest Leeds will be moving the emphasis of Mag-Lite's campaigns away from brand advertising and towards sales generation.

Annette Armitage, managing partner at MediaVest Leeds, said, "We're absolutely delighted to be working together with Mag-Lite. It's a great brand and the products allow for a great deal of innovation in the media planning."

MediaVest Leeds is the fourth of the agency's regional offices. The company already has offices in Manchester, Newcastle and Edinburgh.

Annette Armitage and Dominic Geary run the Leeds operation. They were poached from Brilliant Media.
