Nicki Minaj makes an appearance in a global ad campaign to launch the new Mercedes-Benz A-Class model.
The brand claims the car is the first to adapt itself to each driver. The ad by Antoni Garage begins by showing a seemingly conventional car, before making it clear that the vehicle is actually unique, digital and networked, with features such as intelligent voice control. Minaj suddenly shows up in the front passenger seat with her new song playing from the car’s speakers via Tidal to promote Mercedes-Benz’s partnership with the music platform. The ad was written by Erick Barrios and André Santa Cruz, art directed by Yann Fischels, Daniel Righi and Wolfang Warzilek, and directed by Brian Beletic through Tempomedia/Smuggler.
