- Mercury Center, the pioneering online version of the San Jose Mercury News, has launched a major online ad campaign through Saatchi & Saatchi's digital marketing company, Darwin Digital.
The campaign runs through December and features a number of creative executions. One has the headline "Get Today's Story Now" and carries the latest Silicon Valley news headlines.
The campaign, which uses iFly technology developed by Darwin Digital, will run for three months on various sites including ZDNet and Yahoo!.
Doug Edwards, brand group manager at the San Jose Mercury News, said: "We have designed the ads to be compelling, direct and informative."
Mercury Center carries in-depth news coverage and analysis of Silicon Valley business, technology, and culture. The paper was the US's first to make its contents available online when it launched on America Online in 1993.
