HHCL & Partners has hired its first head of account management,
Jonathan Mildenhall, who moves from Lowe Howard-Spink, where he was a
board account director.
Mildenhall will work alongside the newly appointed managing director,
Ian Priest, and Nick Howarth, client services director.
At Lowe, Mildenhall most recently ran the Vauxhall account. Before that
he was the agency’s worldwide account director on Smirnoff. He joined
Lowe in 1996 following a four-year stint with Bartle Bogle Hegarty,
where he was account director on Audi UK, Alfred Dunhill Worldwide and
Coca-Cola International. Before BBH he was at McCann-Erickson, which he
joined as a graduate trainee in 1990.
Robin Azis, HHCL’s chief executive, said: ’This is one of the most
senior hirings in the history of HHCL. It comes at a crucial time in our
growth as we integrate new account management teams to work on our
growing client list. We wanted someone who shared the same values as us
and he’s a fantastic match.’
Mildenhall said: ’For me, HHCL is, without doubt, the most dynamic
agency in London. Everyone I have met has impressed me with a shared
sense of passion, enthusiasm and professionalism. I can’t wait to be
part of such a spirited team.’
