Carat managing director Colin Mills has been appointed to the board
of Carat Group UK.
The 35-year-old will have a say in the running of Carat Group's
companies: Carat London, Carat Manchester, BBJ Media Services, Carat
Business, Carat Direct, Carat Interactive, Carat Insight and
Posterscope.
Mills, or 'Millsy' as he is known to colleagues, was only promoted to
the role of managing director in January this year.
The Tottenham Hotspur supporter first joined the UK's second-biggest
media agency in 1986 as a media assistant. In 1987 he left to join Hoare
Wilkins and was promoted to media director in 1992.
After the TBWA/Hoare Wilkins merger, Colin ws appointed media director
of Eurospace. He was promoted to the board at Carat, Eurospace's UK
trading partner, rising to become managing director at the start of this
year.
