MindShare hires O&M's Armstrong for brand insight role

LONDON - MindShare has hired Richard Armstrong, a former regional account planner at Ogilvy & Mather in Singapore, to drive the agency's brand insight.

Armstrong joins as a managing partner in communications director Rosie Faulkner's team. He is tasked with developing a better understanding of brands and their relationship with consumers and applying this insight to communication channel choices.

During his time at O&M in Singapore, Armstrong worked on WPP global clients including Nike and Kodak. Most recently, he ran the Singaporean strategic communications agency Red Card.

Faulkner said: "Richard will bring new skills to MindShare and apply them to how we get to know target audiences, what they buy and consume and the media they spend time with. Working with our communications planners, Richard will help us to really get under the skin of our clients' target audiences."
