- Ireland is the latest market to join the rollout of WPP's MindShare media network, created out of the merger of Ogilvy & Mather and J.Walter Thompson's Irish affiliate DDFH&B.
MindShare Ireland will be headed by Bill Kinlay who has been named chief executive. Kinlay joins from MindShare London where he is commercial director.
The agency will have claimed billings in excess of £36 million and will immediately become the largest media company in the Republic when it opens its doors later in the first quarter. Ireland joins the UK, Austria and Belgium as the latest member of the WPP media network.
