MindShare has announced a string of new-business wins worth a total
of pounds 5 million.
National Geographic TV, the Korean Electronics company LG Electronics,
Elida Faberge’s Impulse and the online broker DLJ Direct have all
awarded business to the media agency.
MindShare’s deputy managing director Kevin Razvi will oversee the
account for LG Electronics with account manager David Joseph.
The agency is handling planning and buying for LG Electronic’s first UK
ad campaign on terrestrial TV.
LG produces televisions, videos, hi-fis and white goods and is hoping to
break into the UK mass market.
Broadcast planning director Edward Lloyd-Barnes will head the team for
National Geographic TV, along with the business director Paulette
Loizou.
The campaign will involve satellite TV, national press, radio and online
work.
MindShare’s digital division, MindShare Digital, has netted Impulse body
spray and DLJ Direct. Both accounts will be run by divisional managing
director Nigel Sheldon.
Commenting on the wins, MindShare’s chief executive Mandy Pooler said:
’With a range of experts across all types of media, we are now in a
position to offer clients media-neutral advice, backed up by the kind of
size and volume that allows us to get the best deals in the market.’
