MindShare selects O&M economist as a managing partner

MindShare is continuing its management restructure with the

appointment of Simeon Duckworth as the managing partner of its

specialist consultancy and econometric division, MindShare ATG (Advanced

Techniques Group).

Duckworth was previously a senior economist at MindShare's sister WPP

agency, Ogilvy & Mather. He will report to Simon Francis, the director

of futures at MindShare, and will work alongside Alan Wilson, who is

also a managing partner at MindShare ATG.

Francis said: 'The decision to hire Simeon reflects the emphasis we and

our clients place on delivering the maximum return on communications

investment and deepens the offering of our communications

capability.'

Duckworth will work with MindShare's clients developing econometric

models as well as helping with their business planning issues.

MindShare has also promoted Andrew Lord, who was new-business director,

to managing partner, head of marketing and new business. Before joining

MindShare three years ago, he was a business director at J. Walter

Thompson.

MindShare announced the reshuffle following the departure of the chief

executive, Mandy Pooler, into a part-time research role within WPP.
