Ministry of Sound reviews £7m UK media

LONDON - Ministry of Sound, the dance music brand, is in talks with media agencies ahead of a review of its £7 million planning and buying account.

The account has been held by MediaMix for six years, with some TV buying handled by ZenithOptimedia on behalf of the agency.

Duncan Collins, the head of TV compilations at MoS said: "We're not unhappy with MediaMix, but after six years, we thought it was time to review."

Collins confirmed that MoS was talking with a number of agencies, and aimed to conduct a pitch in a few weeks. It will appoint an agency by July.

The account not only includes the dance music brand's recording business, but also its mobile business as well.
