Since joining Moneysupermarket.com from Mars in February, Roe has led a brand definition project to bring purpose to the fore at the price-comparison company. She has also been on a recruitment drive, hiring a brand team, building up the PR team and generally growing marketing capability across the organisation. Now, marketing comprises one brand-marketing team made up of more than 40 marketers (and growing) across different disciplines. No doubt Roe will also be determined to emulate the buzz generated by the brand’s ‘Epic strut’ ad, which broke before she joined.
