Miva recruits Poulter as new European managing director

LONDON - Digital specialist Miva has named former Independent Media Distribution CEO Adam Poulter as its first managing director for Europe.

He will report to Miva chief operating officer Peter Corrao and joins in a role created to oversee expansion across Europe.

A spokesman for Miva said: "This is a newly created position to help us to grow and expand our European position and we were looking to appoint someone with the seniority and experience to carry that out."

Poulter's previous roles include managing director of the cinema division of Carlton Communications and CEO of US based Screenvision, a joint venture between Carlton and Thomson Multimedia.

He has also held senior roles at Leo Burnett and Bartle Bogle Hegarty.

Craig Pisaris-Henderson, Miva chairman and CEO, said: "Adam has an impressive track record in managing and growing media based businesses both in the UK and overseas.

"We are delighted to have such a talented senior team member to lead out European network."
