The first of three Alter Ego events took place on Monday night (3 August), with two more planned for 10 and 17 August; all of which will be recorded and then streamed via YouTube in a series of videos later this year.

The Orbit’s two viewing platforms  - at 76 and 80 metres – are being transformed into party spaces for the events, which will see a collection of the world’s best DJs hitting the decks to play genres of music they are not normally associated with.

Monday night saw DJ Marky play house music, before Jackmaster took to the decks with some UK Funk. On 10 August, Shy FX will be getting the crowd going with some reggae, before High Contrast finishes the final evening with some Northern Soul.

Jägermeister will be providing the drinks for 150 guests, from its own pop-up bar space.
