Mustoe Merriman Levy has hired the former CDP creative directors
Mick Mahoney and Andy Amadeo to be its joint creative directors.
The pair, who left CDP when it announced its merger with travissully in
October, will start at Mustoe Merriman in December. The agency's most
senior creative pair, Al Morrice and Paul Diver, have left to find new
jobs. The agency's creative director and co-founder, John Merriman, will
become creative partner, with the day-to-day running of the creative
department up to Amadeo and Mahoney.
Mustoe Merriman has also promoted Jon Howard-Spink to be its planning
director after two years at the agency. He was previously the director
at the brand consultancy Icon and was a board planner at Saatchi &
Saatchi.
Mahoney and Amadeo were hired by CDP as joint creative directors in
January as it grappled with the task of reinventing itself in the midst
of dwindling creative work and an unstable department.
