Momentum Pictures in £9 million media review

LONDON - Momentum Pictures, the film distribution company, is reviewing its £9 million media planning and buying business.

The account is currently held by the entertainment media agency, Target Media. Agency sources said Momentum has drawn up a pitchlist for the account, although formal presentations have yet to take place.

Momentum recently used advertising to support cinema releases including Dorian Gray and Last Chance Harvey, plus its DVD catalogue, which includes the CSI box sets, Lesbian Vampire Killers and the Oscar-winning Milk.

Other recent activity through Target Media includes a sponsorship deal with the TV sales house ids. This supported the DVD release of Young Victoria with idents on channels including Watch.
