The latest ad in the price comparison web site’s campaign, created by Mother London, will see Dave (the hotpants-wearing businessman of "epic strut") face off against Colin the builder (from "epic builder") and Gary the bodyguard (from "epic wolf").
Taking place in an underground car park, Colin is unloading scaffolding from his van and sees Dave strutting his stuff.
The builder then initiates a contest with his own dance moves, and before long Dave emerges from behind a pillar and joins with his signature pop and lock style.
The 120-second dance-off will air during Britain’s Got Talent, which returns for a new series on ITV tomorrow night (9 April).
Noam Murro directed the ad through Biscuit, while MediaCom handles media planning and buying for Moneysupermarket.com.
The soundtrack is Fifth Harmony’s Worth It feat. Kid Ink, and the voiceover is by Peter Dickson, the announcer for The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent.
"You’re so Moneysupermarket" was chosen as Campaign’s campaign of the year for 2015. The "epic strut" ad yielded millions of views on YouTube, was used by The Sun to praise George Osborne, and saw the business grow by 38 per cent.
Viewers are being invited to the brand's web site to choose their favourite dancer of the three.
Darren Bentley, the marketing director at Moneysupermarket, said: "We’re always looking for new and engaging ways to illustrate how ‘epic’ people feel when they save money at Moneysupermarket.
"Dave, Colin and Gary have displayed that feeling individually over the last year and now we feel it’s time to bring them back together to show what they’ve got in an 'epic dance-off' you won’t want to miss. As for who’s best – that’s up to the great British public to decide!"
