Monk quits MBA for The Real Adventure

Graham Monk, the deputy chairman of MBA, is leaving the agency after ten years to join the Creston-owned marketing communications company The Real Adventure.

Taking up the position of managing director, Monk will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the agency's 65 staff. He will also work on clients including PepsiCo, Lloyds Black Horse, Cow & Gate and Pfizer.

The Real Adventure is part of Creston Plc, the group that recently bought Delaney Lund Knox Warren & Partners. It was the second acquisition made by Creston's chief executive, Don Elgie, in 2001.

Monk said: "The combination of an outstanding client list and a commitment to ROI makes The Real Adventure an attractive proposition."

Monk has worked as the managing director, and as the deputy chairman, of MBA since just after the agency launched in 1995. He ran the News International and EDF accounts and headed the new-business department.
