After months of delays, boo.com finally launches its global e-commerce urban sportswear site today.
At launch boo.com is offering a multilingual site with multi-currency facilities and local deliveries in Europe and North America at launch. Delivery is within 5 days and along with returns is free.
On offer are some of the biggest European and US sportswear and fashion brands, including Converse, DKNY Active, FuBu, Helly Hansen, New Balance, The North Face, Puma, Fred Perry and Vans. However, boo.com has no distribution agreements with either Nike or Adidas at launch.
boo.com allows customers to rotate any product 360 degrees as well as zoom in close enough to see the stitching, whilst any variety of clothes can be "tried on" a virtual mannequin. Miss Boo, a virtual sales assistant, can guide customers around the site, supported by 24-hour, multilingual call centre agents - the "boocrew."
Additionally, boo.com features an online global magazine reporting on the latest cultural, style, and sports happenings throughout the world.
