Moore takes on new Blue Barracuda role

Bradley Moore, the media director at Agency Republic, is leaving the agency to join the full-service digital independent Blue Barracuda.

In what is a new role for Blue Barracuda, Moore will head its media planning and buying and search marketing arms, with a brief to build the international side of the business. He will join in September and report to the Blue Barracuda founders Martin Talks, Marcus Exall, Nick Berry and Jason Boorman.

In January, Agency Republic hired Martin Kelly, the media director at Unique Digital, to a new board-level media role. Moore, who had previously run Republic's media department as the media director, was given the new role of media commercial director, reporting to Kelly.

Moore joined Agency Republic in 2001 and was instrumental in building the agency's media planning and buying division, working for clients including O2, the BBC and Cancer Research UK. Before that, he worked for two years at Agency.com.

Talks, the chief executive of Blue Barracuda, said: "There are a lot more digital media planning and buying pitches around now and we believe that growing our international offering will give us a real edge over our competitors."
