Moss, who will remain on Leagas Delaney’s board as a non-executive director, will take the role of business development director.

He will lead development of the new business, which will offer intellectual property, public advocacy and corporate affairs advice to Leagas Delaney’s clients.

His responsibilities will also include brand development for Mishcon De Reya, a London-based commercial law firm.

Leagas Delaney is seeking a replacement for Moss and is in advanced discussions with three candidates. A decision on his replacement is expected by the end of the month.

Leagas Delaney has been working with Mishcon De Reya since September last year when it was briefed to help the firm stand out from its competitors.

Margaret Johnson, the group chief executive at Leagas Delaney, said: This is a great opportunity for everybody concerned.

This change reflects the increasing need for influential partnerships that can help ?clients deal with some of the significant challenges being created by the new media landscape.

Before he joined Leagas Delaney in October 2005, Moss held the position of client services director at Leo Burnett London.
