Mother is expanding its creative department with the hiring of an award-winning team from Argentina.
Carlos Bayala and Gaby Scardaccione join from Buenos Aires, where they have been based throughout their careers. Bayala worked as a creative director at Young & Rubicam from 1992 until 1996 before moving to Graffiti DMB&B, where he worked for three years.
Scardaccione joined Bates as an art director in 1992 before moving to TBWA/London and then to Lowe Howard-Spink in 1998.
The team has won a number of international awards, including five Lions at Cannes. They won two Lions for both Tulipan and Channel 13. The team has also won two gold Clios, and a gold Pencil in 1995 for the mosquito repellant Shelltox.
Bayala and Scardaccione will report directly to Mother's founder Robert Saville.
Saville said: 'They bring a remarkably brilliant and fresh perspective to a brief and a beautiful temperament to the company.'
