Mother has hired British-born George Bryant, the joint planning
director of TBWA/ Chiat/Day LA, to strengthen its strategic output.
Bryant will work alongside Andy Bellass at Mother, and will be
responsible for working on brand strategy across a number of the
Bryant joined TBWA/Chiat/Day LA in 1999, where he headed the Energizer,
Apple, USA Films, Kinko's and Earthlink businesses. He was also actively
involved in new business for the agency.
Prior to that Bryant worked at WCRS for three years, where he was a
board planner on the Trebor, Orange and Caffrey's accounts. He also won
a five-star effectiveness award for his work on the First Direct
He joined WCRS from Lowe Howard-Spink, where he worked on Heineken,
Weetabix, Smirnoff, Vauxhall and Stella Artois , winning a silver IPA
Effectiveness award for the latter.
