Mother launches a new batch of Pasta ’n’ Sauce ads this week, which
bring Billie-Jean and Clive - the bored staff who man the Pasta ’n’
Sauce helpline - back to TV.
Five executions depict the duo trying to amuse themselves as they endure
their tedious working routine. In one, a group of visiting Japanese
businessmen happen upon Clive and Billie-Jean in the middle of a fight.
In another, a dog is blamed for Clive’s fart and in a third, the pair
compete in a knuckle-cracking competition, which ends in Billie-Jean
putting her back out.
Two more ads show the effect on Clive of a bikini Billie-Jean has bought
in the sales and, finally, what happens when they rock their chairs -
Billie-Jean ends up with her wig askew and Pasta ’n’ Sauce all over her
Jacqui Davies, Batchelors’ marketing controller, said: ’The hilarious
antics of Billie-Jean and Clive are anything but mundane. We expect the
two of them to become firm TV favourites over the coming months.’
