Robert Saville and Mark Waites, partners at Mother, jointly won best creative director. The judges recognised their key role in rejuvenating the UK advertising scene over the past six years, as well as enhancing the UK's creative reputation abroad.
Mother's Caroline Pay and Kim Gehrig were named best creative team for their work on Schweppes, Dr Pepper and Cup-A-Soup.
Frank Budgen, the director and a partner at Gorgeous, was named the best commercial director for his highly awarded body of work over the year, which includes NSPCC "cartoon" and Reebok "sofa". And Charles Crisp, the head of television at Lowe, who worked with Budgen on "sofa", won best agency producer.
Alison Jackson, whose ongoing lookalike photo series "mental images" formed the basis of Mother's print campaign for Schweppes, won the best use of photography award. And Kevin Clarke, a senior designer at BMP DDB, picked up the best typographer award for his work on Lurpak, Harvey Nichols, The Guardian and Volkswagen.
Sir Alan Parker, the director and the chairman of the judges, commented: "The sheer quality of the work was a real eye-opener to me.
"As someone who has secretly harboured the smug thought that there hasn't been a good commercial since Ridley and I stopped doing them, I was in for a shock. Seeing such a concentration of the best work was a revelation."
